This is a beautiful fountain pen. Simple, classic, elegant. It‘s quite lightweight and of a perfect size for my hands (I am female). The resin looks very interesting and is of a nice warm colour. At first glance, the pearlescent marble effect seems to be on the surface only. The nib units are easily replaceable, which is another huge pro for me. I have purchased a set of three separate nib units, so I can play around with different nib options.

Thanks, Kanpur Writers for the fabulous pen. I chose Kanwrite - Desire - Solid Black - Golden Trim - Gold Plated Nib - Extra Fine Flex. I am a Pen & Ink artist. The pen is lightweight and has a wonderful grip. It writes smoothly right from the first drop of ink. I used the pen in all possible directions even by flipping the pen upside down to have some extra fine strokes. I never had any issues at all. I used it for several hours with Aurora Blue-Black Anniversary Edition Ink. The results are awesome.

I have several of the Desire pens now and am blown away by how wonderful these are. I particularly love the flex nib! And have found everything to be superb quality. Thank you so much!!
