Designed for writers who appreciate comfort, versatility, and timeless fountain pen design, the Kanwrite Desire is an everyday-carry fountain pen built for effortless writing. Its classic cigar-shaped silhouette, ergonomic hourglass section, lightweight construction, and interchangeable nib system make it a dependable companion for everyday writing.

The hourglass-shaped grip section is carefully contoured to follow the natural shape of the fingers, providing a secure and comfortable grip even during extended writing sessions. At just 16 g with the cap and approximately 10 g uncapped, the Desire offers an excellent balance of lightness and stability in the hand.

The pen is manufactured from a specially engineered acrylic resin using a precision injection molding process, resulting in a lightweight yet durable body with clean, consistent dimensions and a refined finish.

3-in-1 Filling System

The Desire gives you complete freedom in how you fill your fountain pen. Choose between:

• Cartridge – Convenient and mess-free for everyday use
• Converter – Enjoy the freedom of using your favourite bottled inks with Proprietary threaded KW converter for leakproof operation
• Eyedropper – Fill the entire barrel directly for increased ink capacity

Your Choice of Feeder

The Desire is available with two feeder options to suit different writing preferences:

• ABS Plastic Feeder – Controlled and dependable ink flow, ideal for everyday writing. Recommended for Finer points for regular flow.
• Ebonite Feeder – Higher ink flow for a wetter, richer writing experience. Highly recommended with Flex, UltraFlex and broader point nibs for wet flow.

Plug & Play Interchangeable Nib Unit

The interchangeable nib unit makes changing or upgrading your nib simple. Its Plug & Play design allows you to switch nib units easily and personalize your writing experience without replacing the entire pen by just twisting the threaded nib unit in anti-clockwise direction.

An elegant spring-steel clip adds the finishing touch, combining a refined appearance with the flexibility needed for secure everyday carry.

Extra Fine (EF) – 0.5 mm

Feeder Recommendation

The Desire is available with ABS plastic or ebonite feeders.

• ABS Plastic Feeder: Controlled, dependable ink flow; recommended for regular EF, F, M and B nibs.
• Ebonite Feeder: Higher, wetter and more consistent ink flow; highly recommended for Flex and UltraFlex nibs to maintain a steady ink supply when the tines open during flexing.
