After reading rave reviews in the Pen community about an Indian brand- I had to see for myself on the quality Kanwrite had to offer.
Ordered the Desire marble yellow in fine flex nib with silver trim. The pen arrived within a week in impeccable packaging. Standard convertor and one small cartridge included. The feed is plastic. I was told that ebonite feed is available on request but the price is almost double.
The design of the acrylic is beautiful. The pen writes very smoothly. No hard start, no leakage, no scratchy feel even on cheap paper.
A few things for improvement- The clip can be designed better as the spring tension is less. Ebonite feed options can be made available on the website for customers to choose from.
Kanwrite support is also very prompt in answering customer’s questions. Kudos and I am proud to use an Indian brand which is a joy to use.
I say this- There is no other fountain pen in the market today for what the Kanwrite Desire offers at this price range.
