Excellent pen from an Indian brand, I ordered Extra fine nib, very smooth while writing , packaging is premium , should definitely go for this.
Only downsides are , its a bit too heavy and the grip is slippery, otherwise a fantastic pen

Stunning Fountain Pen!
It was my first order from this site, but certainly not my first Kanwrite Fountain Pen. What a Stunning Fountain pen! It was delivered within a day, and I instantly fell in love with the Pen. I ordered the “Emperor Teakwood” with a “Regular Medium nib” because I want my lines to be a bit thick. The Pen technically glides on any paper. The full metal body makes it a bit heavy to hold. Thus, I won’t recommend it for beginners or people looking for a cheaper alternative. However, this high-quality Pen is available at a very competitive price. Compared to the world-class brands, it’s far better quality at this price! Overall satisfying experience! I’ll definitely place my next order very soon and recommend it to all my students and friends.

This is any fountain pen user’s affordable dream. I bought the teak finish with a medium nib and find the pen gliding on any kind of paper, which is a big plus. The Emperor also has to live upto its name and so carries some weight, which is pleasant and reassuring in its sturdiness. Another big plus is the big matching convertor, usually u find a cheap piston which is friction fit and we all pray it doesnt disengage with our daily grind. The emperor has its screw shut leaving nothing to chance. Overall it seems a lot of thoughts have been distilled into this gracedul pen making us pen lovers first love and then adore the Emperor.

At order time, i was skeptical about the product quality but i take a chance and it was a good decision. The pen material is of great quality. The writing quality is one of the best among the fountain pens i have. I can say that the quality is superior then parker fountain pens. Must buy

I ordered the Emperor Teakwood with a File UltraFlex Dual Tone nib with an ebonite feed. I am quite happy with the product, the writing feels very nice and the flex is exactly what I was looking for. It gives quite dry strokes without pressure which makes it good for regular writing, and with a reasonable pressure it produces a nice wet flex. The wet strokes produce sheen with some appropriate inks (I got sheen with the Waterman Mystery Blue). The line variation is absolutely perfect for moderate to a little big sized writing. The flow is very good almost all the time, but I did notice some railroading a few times, which is a bit of a turn off but not too often to be a dealbreaker, it is generally consistent.
Something I did not like is that even though I knew the teakwood finish is a paint over the barrel, I am quite disappointed with how the texture of the print is extremely low resolution to the point that it looks very off putting from a close range view. This is not noticeable from afar, but it does feel a bit unpolished from up close. Also, the name engraving is almost invisible in the midst of the similar coloured barrel, they should have engraved the name in a darker colour like black.
The Nib looks absolutely beautiful with the unique ultraflex side-cuts design, and the beautiful dual tone gold-steel finish.
The weight is a bit on the higher side, so the comfort is a bit subjective to the user. I would not recommend this to someone with small hands.
What I loved: the ebonite feed and ultraflex combination in this 1k price is a steal as compared to other foreign brands, and the amount of customization you can have is really awesome.
If you are considering this pen, my advice is to go with the solid color ones, either matte or glossy, as the prints (teakwood/rosewood) seem to be quite low-resolution which definitely reduces the otherwise premium feel of the pen.
