The Emperor is a bold cigar shaped premium brass metal fountain pen which carries a decent weight offering a very well balanced writing experience. Built like a tank, it is sure to last several years as a sustainable solution opposed to disposable pens. The Emperor is equipped with the in-house manufactured signature smooth nibs from Kanwrite with an exceptional range of 7 steel nib options.
The Emperor offers a fixed piston type filling system with twist mechanism accommodating 1 ml capacity of ink. An additional ink cartridge of 2ml capacity is also provided. Both Converter and refillable cartridge are included with this fountain pen.
You also get to choose the type of feeder material between Ebonite & Plastic types. We recommend Ebonite feeder for higher ink flow/wetness and ABS Plastic feeder for regular flow. ABS Plastic feeder for Finer points and moderate flow.

Writes perfect, initially a little bit slippery to hold, but once you get hold of it, it gives fine control. Make sure you are comfortable with the thickness of the pen, after all, it is a personal preference.

I have bought flex nib with ebonite feed.
Though This pen is little bit heavy and bigger than normal sized fountain pen, But I didn’t feel any problem. it writes very smoothly. It gives
immense pleasure to write.

Emperor Matte Black CT – Medium Nib Ebonite Feeder. Bought in Dec’24 Review in Mar’25. It is consistent with ink flow and overall a stout heavy pen. Used two three types of ink and flow is good. Finish could be better as bottom of cap is sharp and paint peel starts from there. Will recommend as a good value for money fountain pen for everyday use. Buy Chrome Trim for long-lasting looks.

Purchased two Emperor. Sandipji very kindly accommodated my crazy idea of customised nibs in very nominal extra price. The price that I have paid vs. the quality I got is simply not comparable. I have few pens from abroad (I prefer little heavier pen and which writes smooth) and some from other Indian manufacturer. This performance of Kanwrite Emperor is simply superb compared to the cost that I have paid. Of course pen is slightly thicker but that is the type I like.

Just received it, the pen is very very good, only thing that i noticed that this particular item which i received is not manufactured properly i believe as the clip of the pen is tilted and the logo (Emperor) is slightly washed up. Maybe i received a old pen but still i kept it as i really loved the writing and feel

only wish that the ” emperor” embossed needs to be of a better quality.
