The pen is precisely machined using premium Japanese Nikko ebonite, a naturally produced resin material requiring special production processes. Ebonite material is very warm to the touch and its rich elasticity and unique texture provides the ultimate comfort, quality and character to the product.

At it’s core is the unique handcrafted 14kt. gold nib with an all new beak-like profile designed to offer vintage flex writing experience. Mozart can be equipped with 3 types of nib cuts – Music, Regular Vintage Flex & HyperFlex each nib is capable of producing huge line variation and equipped with a custom designed high flow ebonite feeder to provide a juicy ink flow. These handcrafted nibs add a touch of calligraphic elegance to your writing or sketches.

It is a light weight material which offers excellent balance and control properties while writing.

Ebonite Feeder:

The Mozart features a newly engineered high-flow ebonite feeder, specifically developed to meet the demanding ink requirements of flex writing. Crafted from premium ebonite, the feeder’s porous, ink-loving nature ensures superior capillary action, delivering a consistently wet and reliable ink flow even under heavy pressure and wide tine spreads.

Its optimized channel geometry and enlarged ink pathways are precisely tuned to support Music, Vintage Flex, and HyperFlex nibs, preventing railroading during fast strokes, sustained flexing, or large downstrokes. The feeder responds instantly to changes in writing speed and pressure, maintaining ink saturation and smoothness without flooding.

Ink Filling System:  2 in 1 – Twist Converter & Reusable Cartridge (Inkwell)

The Mozart is equipped with a versatile 2-in-1 ink filling system designed to suit both traditionalists and modern users.

1. Piston-Pump Converter of 1.4ml capacity included with the fountain pen which constantly feeds the instrument. This meticulously designed Kanwrite converter threads into the barrel to prevent any ink leakage issues. Push the piston down to push the air out and pull it up to draw the ink using any bottled ink. 
2. The pen comes with a Kanwrite threaded Reusable Ink Cartridge of 2ml capacity which can be filled with ink using an eyedropper or a syringe and then capped up. This cartridge can be easily screwed on after unscrewing the threaded converter. The cartridge is designed in such a way that the cap can be screwed on to the bottom of the cartridge when in use to avoid loosing the cap.
